PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — The Phnom Penh Daun Penh Rotary Club, under Rotary District 3350 and led by Charter President Moon Young Soo, officially unveiled its comprehensive 2026–2027 Master Plan on June 9, outlining an ambitious roadmap designed to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen member engagement, and expand the club’s humanitarian impact across Cambodia.

The newly announced master plan focuses on creating a dynamic platform that minimizes the time commitment required from busy business leaders while maximizing both Rotary service opportunities and practical business value for members.

Three Core Principles for the New Rotary Year

The club introduced three key operational philosophies that will guide its activities throughout the 2026–2027 Rotary year:

Minimizing time, maximizing impact
Delivering tangible business value for members
Creating an efficient meeting structure through member-company visits and business networking presentations

A key feature of the plan is the launch of the “Roadshow Model,” which allows members to visit fellow members’ businesses and gain firsthand insight into their operations while fostering stronger professional relationships.

Confirmed roadshow host locations for the second half of 2026 include:

July: Atomy Cambodia
August–September: TRT Legal & Financial Office
October: SM Accounting Corporation

Expanding Humanitarian Impact Through Global Grants

The club also reaffirmed its long-term vision of contributing to the establishment of an independent Rotary district in Cambodia through impactful humanitarian projects and international partnerships.

Recently, the club successfully completed an USD 88,000 Global Grant Project (GGP) that provided pediatric hemodialysis equipment to the National Pediatric Hospital in Cambodia.

Building on that achievement, the club has set an ambitious goal of securing three additional Global Grants during the 2026–2027 Rotary year.

Planned projects include:

Improvement of the water treatment system at Svay Chrum Hospital
Introduction of an emergency ambulance service
Water treatment system enhancement at a hospital in Kampong Speu Province

Two-Track Membership and Partnership Strategy

To broaden its network and influence, the club will implement a Two-Track Strategy targeting both Korean and Cambodian professionals.

The strategy includes expanding partnerships with organizations such as:

Business Network International (BNI)
Chambers of Commerce
Professional business associations and community networks

The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration among entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders while increasing opportunities for service and business development.

President Moon Young Soo emphasized that the club’s mission is to create a vibrant Rotary platform that provides meaningful benefits to members while delivering sustainable and impactful service to local communities.

“Our goal is to build a Rotary club that offers real value to its members and meaningful service to society, while contributing to the growth of Rotary in Cambodia,” he stated.

The Phnom Penh Daun Penh Rotary Club will continue its external engagement activities by participating in the Rotary Club of Phnom Penh Central Installation Ceremony on June 24 and the Rotary Club of Phnom Penh Capital Installation Ceremony on June 25. The club’s leadership team remains united and committed to ensuring a successful launch of the new Rotary year.
